Week 60

This week we came back to our normal schedule:) The only difference is that it has been very rainy lately.

Some weekly highlights were that on Tuesday we went to visit one of our American investigators whose name is Rachel. She is pregnant and supper solid. We have been talking about the restoration and as we talked to her about the Book of Mormon and shared our testimonies we could feel the spirit and so could she. And she told us she could! We invited her to be baptized and she said she would! We suggested June 20th but she needed to have come to church this last Sunday but the problem was that her friends were throwing her a baby-shower this Sunday and she wasn't able to come. We will keeping praying and fasting that she will be able to be baptized next transfer!:D

On Wednesday we had a really cool activity with the Relief Society. It was like a lot of the other activities but the difference this week was that Paola got the chance to participate and she was very exited! She had made these amazing cookies and had the chance to wrap them up and send them off as a service for the homeless. She loved it and she was really happy. I love this little branch! Its such a strong group of members. I know that a lot of more miracles are going to come from them.

Yesterday we had the opportunity to go to one of our investigators house to eat dinner. She had us make popusas with her and it was way fun! The miracle there was that she is a woman that has been investigating the church for a long time and this week she showed a lot more interest in progressing than she has the whole time I have been here. It was really sweet to see her eyes when she talked about her kneeling and praying like the pamphlet had taught her to and when she came up to us when her questions. I have lots of high hopes for her:)

Well that was my week:) Today we are hoping to be able to go ride a few rides on the carnival that is just down the street from the church. This Friday our branch is also having a temple day so if we get Paola to go we will be able to go with her:) cross your fingers!

On to some homely news...:) Elder Orellana is now in California!:D He got there this morning and I cant wait to hear from him next week.

I love yall! I hope yall have a good week:D
